after suffering for years with tiscali giving me less than 1meg and blaming bt for the problems, i decided to swap to sky. after a few teathing problems(dead router) im now getting 12meg on a regular basis.

On sky-max package:-very,very reliable(never disconnects!)Fast(twice as fast as previous ISP)and cheap(half prce of previous ISP):-So far more reliable,twice as fast and 1/2 the cost so very happy with service!

Since being changed over from Sky Connect to Sky Mid my Broadband connection service has been operating very well indeed. I have no complaints at all and at £5 a month consider it to be excellent value for money.

have base package,3miles from exchange getting 1.8mb now ,used to only get 0.7mb .

excellent isp, gone for up to 16mb and at mo am getting 6mb ( even though B says i can only get up to 2mg)
had a problem with router replacement was sent out straight away, customer service A easy set up, highly recommend

had a broadband promising 16 mb getting 2-3 mb only called customer service had to call 7-8 times and kept on hold for hours before i had to just get it to be disconnected. worst experience till now

upgraded my sky package to 16 mb but as yet cannot see a difference in speed etc.. tried to contact sky but get no joy. held in line on phone being charged for the priviledge. but hung up after ten minutes..

Had the 8mb Mid package for the past 3 months, very pleased overall. Setup proceeded exactly as promised.
Getting 4/6mb on average, have no adverse comments.

I've got sky broadbnad and i must say i'm very pleased.... excellent price and value and customer service is really good.....if you want TV, Phone and Broadband then go for Sky.... forget the rest!

Basically its cack. I pay the £10 for max and i am going to downgrade cause its as slow as hell so there is no point in the extra tenner a month chasing promised speeds that never appear and it disconnects all the time during early evening use

Can not complain really,minor hitches experienced,unlike virgin media,speed .5 down, on a 2mb contract able to cancel at anytime.

I'm surprised they can actually call them selves a broadband provider.

only on base as miles from exchange .was of for 4 days due to exchange fault ,customer service could be better ,faster than dial up and as it is free cant be bad .average 1mbs on a good day up to 1.5mbs .

will not recommend to anybody.
getting 0.1mbps since my new router arrived and i live 1.75km from the exchange! Customer "un"helpful desk is a waste of time & money

Dreadful, had it 2 weeks then told them to stick it and give me my MAC Code. It will be sent within the next day or so. 8 years of trouble free AOL service prior to Sky.

waste of money, stay away. I receive less than 1mb and live 0.5km from exchange

Overall i find Sky to be excellent. Customer service is helpful, seems reliable so far and very pleased with speeds averaging 3-5mb on the mid range 8mb service as my exchange can only manage 5.5 max. Cheap and decent in my experience.

paying for an 8mb connection and so far i have noit topped 1.5mb. Disgraceful.

have increased to 8 from 2 paying extra 5 pounds for 1.5 mb speed, have phoned repeatedly but blame bt,rubbish had no problem with tiscali,sky should reimburse customers for service they cannot provide.

I don't get my full 16Mb but cannot grumble @ £10 per month for a good stable 12.5Mb and no trouble (touch wood :P)

awful. 16mb connection runs at 1mb approx. and service connects approx 60% of the time. they dont return calls and they dont understand what youre ssying

very poor all round, very hard to contact by phone. often slow and unreliable
