I have rang in excess of 50 times with a fault to their Indian call centre. Each time I have to start from scratch and i am really fed up
my service goes down from 5.30pm and doesn't come back till next morning. They even want to charge me to downgrade the...

Pipex used to be a good, quiet, well-behaved ISP - but they went bad. Swallowed by Tiscali and got worse.
After 6 years they suddenly stopped taking payments from us and then claimed we'd cancelled a direct debit - never had one. Tried to set up a direct...

Pipex used to be excellent. Bit pricey maybe, but reliability and customer service was second to none. However, since being taken over by Tiscali things ahve really gone down hill. Speed fluctuates enormously and non-existent customer service. After 8...

I'm now sitting waiting for Pipex's email servers to come back on line. This is the second time in so many weeks. First time we were without email for nearly two days, coming up to 24 hours now for this second outage. According to their call centre (costs 10p...

I've been a Pipex customer (on and off due to house moves) for a good few years now. - Looking back, probably from when they first came onto the scene. Back then they were run by a select number of employees who really knew their stuff. Quite often I'd rung...

Had speed drop from 1487 to between 143! and 226!!. Contacted customer support and they diagnosed a corrupted profile at their end.
Allowed me to access their speedtest server overnight and now get consistent near 1.5mb - someone knew his job.

dont waist yoyr money and time its goes out of its way to signe up and then they disgard you . as far as they are concerned you dont egsist until its payment time dont go with pipex

The only good bit is reliability.
Other than that, speed is poor and customer service is abysmal. been trying to upgrade from 2 to 8 meg since October (now Feb). just keep getting fobbed off, lied to so I'm off to find another provider.

Signed up for service upto 8meg Very poor over last 2 weeks and getting worse. Just done speed check 0.86 meg

I don't know when the other reviews of Pipex were written but for the last few weeks my 2Mbps Pipex contract has only been giving me 0.1Mbps. This is attrocious and several e-mails to Pipex haves not resulted in any reply or action. This is very disappointing...

We've used a package offering up to 8mb speed (the limit of our local exchange in anycase), unlimited download and UK landline calls anytime for more 14 months. Average speed has been 5mb to 6.5mb. Reliability has been total. I've wondered whether it's still...
